WAYF is a Google Cloud Development Agency

Enterprise cloud without enterprise complexity. Google Cloud is how we deploy applications that need to scale globally — world-class networking, managed services that actually work, and pricing that makes sense.

Enterprise cloud without enterprise complexity. Google Cloud is how we deploy applications that need to scale globally — the same infrastructure that runs Google Search, YouTube, and Gmail, available for your product. World-class networking, managed services that actually work, and pricing that makes sense once you understand it.

What We Build

Production infrastructure for applications that need to grow. Kubernetes clusters on GKE for teams that need container orchestration without the ops burden. Cloud Run for serverless containers that scale to zero and back. Cloud Functions for event-driven workloads. BigQuery pipelines for analytics that would choke traditional databases.

We’ve deployed to Google Cloud for startups where simplicity mattered and for enterprises where compliance and global presence were requirements. We’ve migrated workloads from AWS when GCP’s networking or data tools were the better fit.

What we deploy less of: projects where a simpler platform would suffice. If you’re running a single application with predictable traffic, Hetzner or Digital Ocean might serve you better at a fraction of the cost. We’ll tell you when Google Cloud is overkill.

Why Us

Cloud is a Means to an End

We’re a development agency that deploys infrastructure, not a cloud consultancy that sends architects. Our engineers build applications and deploy them — same team, same context, no handoffs.

GCP Depth Where it Matters

We know GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and the services that most applications actually need. We’re not certified in everything Google offers; we’re experienced in what works for production software.

Multi-Cloud Perspective

We’re not GCP-exclusive. That means we recommend it when it’s right, not because it’s all we know. If AWS or Azure serves your needs better, we’ll say so.

Technical Approach

Compute Strategy Depends on Your Workload

GKE for containerized applications that need orchestration. Cloud Run for containers that should scale automatically without cluster management. Compute Engine when you need VMs. Cloud Functions for event-driven glue.

GKE Done Right

If you need Kubernetes, GKE is the best managed option available. We configure clusters properly — node pools, autoscaling, workload identity, network policies. Kubernetes has a thousand knobs; we set the ones that matter and leave the rest alone.

Managed Databases by Default

Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL and MySQL. AlloyDB when you need PostgreSQL at scale. Spanner when you need global consistency. We pick the database that fits your access patterns, not the one that sounds most impressive.

BigQuery for Analytics

If you’re doing data analysis, BigQuery changes what’s possible. Petabyte-scale queries in seconds, serverless, pay-per-query. We’ve built analytics pipelines that would be impossible on traditional databases.

Infrastructure as Code, Always

Terraform for provisioning. Everything version-controlled, reviewable, reproducible. No clicking through the console and hoping someone remembers what changed.

What We See Go Wrong

Teams pick Google Cloud because “it’s what Google uses” without understanding what that means for their workload. GCP’s strengths are specific — Kubernetes, networking, data analytics. If you’re not using those, you might be paying for capabilities you don’t need.

GKE deployed when Cloud Run would suffice. Kubernetes is powerful but complex. Teams spin up clusters for applications that would run fine as serverless containers, then spend months learning Kubernetes instead of shipping features.

Cost surprises happen too. GCP pricing is competitive but not simple. Egress costs, sustained use discounts, committed use contracts — teams that don’t monitor spend discover problems when the invoice arrives.

Who We Work Well With

Clients who need infrastructure that scales globally — where Google’s network and managed services provide real advantages. Also: clients already on GCP who need help making better use of it.

Who We’re Not For

If you’re running simple workloads and cost is the primary concern — Hetzner or Digital Ocean will serve you better at a fraction of the price. If your organization mandates AWS or Azure — we work with those too. We’re not GCP partisans; we’re pragmatists who use what fits.
